God Provides Toilet Paper
The Corona Virus had just hit our country and everyone was going crazy. People were buying in bulk like never before. There were whole aisle there were empty. Essential items were nearly impossible to come by. With my family of five I knew we would need toilet paper soon. I started to freak out and worry how we were going to be taken care of, not just with toilet paper but overall. As I started to panic the Lord brought this verse to mind: The LORD will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. – Isaiah 58:11 When that verse popped in my head I said sorry to God. All these years of following the Lord He had always come through. God had always taken care of me and my family. Even when we couldn’t make ends meet Jesus had come through every time. What made this Corona Virus epidemic any different? Even when the country was in lack, God wasn’t in lack. He was still a provider. I then said something along these lines: “Lord we are running out of toilet paper. When we need it could you make it available.” That same day we had put furniture on Facebook market place for free. One person said please hold for me. I said no. They said I will give you $20 if you hold. I said if you want it that bad we will hold it for free. Then jokingly added “we would take one roll of toilet paper. 😂😂😂 When the lady came to pick up the chair she brought a whole package of nice plush toilet paper. We all laughed as she gave us the toilet paper but on the inside I was squealing with delight. I knew it was the Lord answering my prayer. Though our world is flipped upside down and we may be in more lack than ever before God is still a good provider. He wants to take care of your needs, you personally and your family God can take care of you even when the rest of the world is in lack. Just pray and ask Him for the specifics you need. It doesn’t matter how big or small they are. Ask Him to help you pay your bills, to provide toilet paper, to put food on your table. Go to God for your needs. He loves you and wants to do life with you.
