Our Beliefs

God
We believe in the Eternal Godhead who has revealed Himself as ONE God existing in THREE persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; distinguishable but indivisible

Jesus
Jesus is fully God and fully man. He lived a perfect life, died, was resurrected bodily, and ascended to the throne of God. As promised, he will return. It is only by believing in Jesus and what he did on the cross that we can be saved. He is the way, the truth, and the life. No person can come to God except through Jesus.

Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is God. He is presently, powerfully active in the life of believers just as he was in scripture. Baptism in the Holy Spirit is an experience that happens after salvation. The Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts to those baptized in the Holy Spirit.

Bible
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. - 2 Timothy 3:16

Sin
While we were created good in the image of God, due to sin, we are fallen, corrupt, and separated from our Creator and are in need of salvation. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” - Romans 3:23

Salvation
We believe in the salvation of sinners by grace, through repentance and faith in the perfect and sufficient work that Jesus did on the cross. “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God not a result of works, so that no one may boast” – Ephesians 2:8-9

Spiritual Gifts
The gifts of the Spirit, as defined in Scripture (Romans 12 and 1 Corinthians 12), are given to followers of Christ for the improvement of the local church. We believe they are still available for us to operate in today and that everyone is given one or more gifts which have been distributed by the Holy Spirit.

Great Commission
We believe that God wants no person to perish and so we have made it part of our mission to go beyond the four walls of our church to reach out to our community.

Biblical Marriage
We believe that biblical marriage is between one man (biologically born as such) and one woman (biologically born as such). Therefore, we will only perform marriage ceremonies and permit the use of church property for ceremonies, in accordance with our Biblical beliefs (Genesis 2:24; Ephesians 5:22-32).
